Soy aburrido

I am taking a Spanish class at the university this semester, not because I have to, but because I wanted to. It is suppose to be "fun" and so far it has been. Well, it's been fun for me, at least. You see, our professor is from Uruguay and does not speak English to us very often when she teaches. For people who have never been around Spanish speakers or taken a Spanish class, this poses a serious problem and I feel very bad for them because they tend to get quite frustrated.

One person that I know who tends to get frustrated is a guy in my class names David. He is in his late 40s and just graduated last semester with a degree in hotel management. He, like me, decided to take Spanish for fun but is not doing so hot in it. I sit next to him every day and listen to his exhausting comments which make me laugh. For instance, he was upset at our professor and so he leaned over to me and said, "I swear, I am going to punch her right in the pinata one of these days!" Now, imagine a 48 year-old man who is slightly metro saying that to you... it's hilarious! I hope he doesn't get too frustrated and quit class because I am going to need the entertainment at 8:00am!
