Rain, Rain, Go Away
It's a really dreary, rainy day today here in Fort Wayne. At times, there were patches of brightness and sunshine, but overall, it has just been dreary and wet. Normally, I really hate days like this because I get a little down and they just seem to drag on forever; today, however, I was actually pretty upbeat and happy.
This past weekend at home went really well, too. I was able to spend some time with my father as well as my cousin Lisa and her boyfriend Shawn, and my former mentor, Sandy. I told them stories about Europe (which I still dearly miss) and caught up on their lives, as well. It's funny because, although I don't miss Flint at all, I dearly miss the people there. I don't think I could ever live there, but I really would like to be able to live closer to those people again.
