I really, really liked this one. Wonderful build-up to that final line when you realise that they're perhaps together or he's contemplating his memory while he's contemplating her.
Funny how you never know you’re makin’ a memory while you’re doing it.

Lovely! I like the Mal POV, you have a great handle on his voice.
