Spring Break!!!
I had SUCH a fantastic Spring Break!!!!! I went to MO with Dustin to meet his WHOLE family!!!! I got there around noon on Friday and we left around 2 from NC..we dropped my car off at our friend Jeremy and Dawn's. We got to MO (his grandparents) around 5 am..we drove the whole way..well..he did..:) He was so kute! When we stopped once it was raining so he brought the car around for me!!! Anyway...Sat I met his sister and grandmother and mom and then later met his cousin and brother and gradnfather. We played outside "country golf" and "washers" and then basketball! Everyone was SO welcoming and sweet!! Sunday we didn't do a whole lot..oh..I went out on the 4 wheeler! Monday didn't do a whole lot..just hung out and met everyone and had fun! Tuesday Dustin and I drove to another part of MO to visit his other grandparents. We went out to dinner w/his uncle and aunt and aunt's sister and then went SHOPPING! Then staid at that aunt and uncle's house..they gave us their bedroom to sleep in! Wed we came back and went 4 wheeling again..I drove this time! GO ME!! Thurs we went w/his grandmother "junkin" and then went to his sister's easter party at school, then went out to see his old house at the creek. Talk about no neighbors! Friday his sister, his mom, his grandmother, and myself went to a yard sale (I love these ladies!) then did easter stuff all day while Dustin and I packed, and went 4 wheeling again (I drove again!). Saturday Dustin and I drove his cousin to meet his parents about 3 hours away (it was on our way)..then drove all the way back to NC. We got to NC (I helped drive some this time, but Dustin didn't make me drive when it got dark..he's so considerate) around 3am. We went to sleep, he woke up and checked in around 5:50am (saved himself a day of leave!) and went back to sleep. We did some shopping in town, got my car, went out to eat, and went back to Stone Bay and hung out the rest of the night. I left about 6am on Monday and drove back!
Oh, for Easter his mother and his grandmother gave me something! His mother gave me a blue basket w/a paper weight, a tile for my wall (about love), and a glass statue thingy (it had roses carved in it. His grandmother gave me 2 mini tea sets we found when we were out shopping (she bought one while we weren't looking, and she fought Dustin to buy me the other one), pink peeps and a card! They are so sweet!!! His other grandfather said "she can't be that bad, she brought and fed my horses carrots and Derek doesn't even do that" (Derek is Dustin's brother)! LOL...funny men.
On a not such good note, Dawn called us on Sat (that we left) to tell me my hood had a dent in it and wanted me to know so I didn't think they did it. I brought it to the car place that fixed my car and they were rude about it yesterday and told me to bring it back today. I did (I woke up late..oops!) and they fixed the dent, but the beam under my hood is bent too and I don't know if that effects it or not..I'm so not a car person! At least the dent it out and they didn't charge me! :)
Anyway..that has been my last week and 1/2! It was SO nice to relax! But I'm home now and back to the grind...;)
