What a weekend!!!!!
I got in my first car crash! It wasn't bad, thank goodness, and no one got hurt, but my poor lilo is not lookin' so hot. The drivers side seat belt is stuck (that HURT when I stopped short!), the passanger side airbag went off (and my car filled up w/smoke), the passanger side light is all cracked inside, and that side of the bumper came off in pieces, my hood is bent as well as the piece next to the hoot...so..yeah...and that's just what I know is wrong. :-p NOT MY FAULT THOUGH....I have a rental until Lilo is back to normal! :-P And the rental is guess what color...that's right!!! BLUE!! :-P
What happened was I was driving home from work around 6pm in the far right lane, going straight. The two lanes next to me were completely stopped (don't ya love NoVA traffic) and the lady tried to turn left across our three lanes b/c two were stopped and she couldn't see mine. I saw her and slammed on my brakes, but I couldn't stop in time. It was scary and I was shaking. But luckaly she knew it was her fault and told the PO that. Plus we had a witness (who was in the lane next to me) and he was an FBI guy! As far as crashes, it wasn't so bad...I just hope I never have to go through that again *knocks on wood*
Dustin was SO sweet, he wanted so badly to drive up here and take care of me, but I told him I was ok and that I would see him next weekend, so no use wasting all that time and gas. It was SO sweet though! He did promise me a massage b/c my body aches from the crash. :-P
FFX Job Fair went SO well!!! The lady I had told me I passed the first round! I am SO happy!!! I was so nervous, but it was ok! :)
To get a VA teaching license, I seriously am beginning to think that no one knows what needs to be done. FFX HR told me one thing, VDOE told me something else, and then the people yesterday told me a totally different set of things. AHH!! :-P Oh wells..I'll figure it out.
