ZOMG my parents must be first cousins or something I feel so mentally challenged!
I just realized why TV shows stay in their same time for us in Alberta when Daylight Savings Time goes on/off even though the whole world isn't on the same time.
Because the entire world, though not on the same time, changes by the same amount: 1 hour.
HOW CAN I NOT HAVE FIGURED THIS OUT BEFORE?!?!?!
It's not even like I have never devoted thought to this, which might explain me not knowing. NO; I have spent much time trying to wrap my brain around this problem. And it JUST made sense now!
I feel embarrassed for myself. I have brought shame to my family.
