Update on Thanksgiving or at least the day after. It will now be a dinner for 11-12 people and I am trying to think of how I can fit everyone comfortably, not to mention what everyone will actually do while waiting for everything to get ready. I wish I could come. I'm really sad. I wanted to be there. But as it's "Black Friday", there was no way that I could get off. At all. I really wish I could be there to spend time with my important people. :(

We wish you could have come too, but completely understand the empire that is WAL-MART. *hugs* Make Black Friday a Rainbow Friday and don't let any of the early shoppers push you around too much! :)

I read your earlier posts about the food and gathering and got really excited to hear about it since it sounds like you'll all have a lot of fun. :D

I don't know if there's a Yankee Candle store in Columbia, but they have a real nice pumpkin spice candle.

The difference between Christmas Cookie and Sugar Cookie is that Christmas Cookie smells more expensive.

As for what to watch/do while the cooking is going on, how about a board game of some sort where teamwork is involved, like Cranium or Pictionary? Then you can pair up people who don't know each other and bingo! Instant getting to know each other.
