What a weekend!
Friday: Me and Mog went for free dinner in York (thank you Tesco’s vouchers) and despite my flat tire on me bike, and Mog getting stuck in traffic we had a lovely night.
Saturday: We took car to garage and got it booked in to get MOTed and its exhaust looked at.
Then we went to see a man about getting the paintwork touched up and the big f-off scratch fixed and got a present surprise at the price he gave us.
Went food shopping.
Fixed my flat tire.
Packed my paintball kit for Saturday, packed my suit for the PBUK Awards that night. Its a bit odd packing for a awards dinner and paintball game in the same bags, its all a bit 007. Suit, black tie, nice shoes, gun .......
Went to the awards dinner and won UK Scenario Player of the Year, then proceeded to get drunk.
Sunday: Went to bed about 2:30.
Got up about 7 feeling very ill, tried to have some breakfast and failed.
Drove down to Wakefield for the game, it was bloody cold, bloody windy, and bloody good fun. I had a bit of a slow start due to the hangover but I maintain there is no better hangover cure than a nice dose of adrenalin.
We (as in our side) won the day, and I spent a good section of the day hunting Santa and his elves.
Got home about 4ish and had just enough time to sort out some of my kit and have a shower before Mog got back from shopping.
Then Pit arrived, we talked crap, got Chinese, played Settlers of Catan which was great, then talked some more, Mog went to bed and me and Pit stayed up playing guitar hero till about 1am.
Its was a great end to a great weekend.
