I originally posted this review on crunchyroll. I'm deleting my account on there so I thought I'd post here.
Naming a drama "soulmate" in my opinion is very bold. And I wanted to see what this daring writer had to offer. Sadly though, as I got further into the drama I became really disappointed with the developments. The beginning of the drama was fairly good, but it I felt it fell short with the "build-up" of Soo-Kyung and Dong-Wook's relationship. I can't say I was able to get behind them 100% or felt their pain because it all happened too fast. I wasn't expecting a slow developing melodrama here, but I thought it would be handled with more care and would have been written more seriously than it actually was. They handled the aspect of soulmates in a very silly manner. Too many cheesy scenes + bad acting = a hurt stomach. And there was surely enough of them...
This drama is not horrible by any means, it just does not suit my personal taste.
