Summertime
Oh man, if summer in Michigan were like today the whole time, I wouldn't feel the need to ever leave...
So, I've been in my new place for over a week now, and it looks like I just finished moving in 3 hours ago. Surprise surprise! My mom is coming today to get something she forgot when she helped me move, and I think she might help me organize some stuff. Yay not doing it myself!
On the school front (yes, there is school in summer for us people who want to cram in WAY too much stuff in 4 years)... Last semester I was taking 2 300-level Russian classes and 3 400-level Econ classes. Now, I'm taking 1 300-level Econ class (Money and Banking). OMG. We spent over 2 hours on "What is money?" Ridiculous. Amazing. Cannot form cohesive, descriptive sentence due to sheer joy.
Work is really boring right now. There's NOTHING to do. There's no students here and there's no orientation. After the last two weeks being CRAZY-busy with people graduating and closing their accounts, etc. the change seems even more drastic. Oh well, soon the paper-folding and envelope-stuffing will start. I can't believe I'm complaining about nothing to do. I take it all back...
Well, my mom is going to be here in an hour or so... I should try to make it look like I started unpacking SOMETHING before she gets here. :-D
