school's almost out. yay.
I totally failed as a student this quarter. very little studying
and zero motivation. oh well, it happens. i'm not failing out of college
yet (!) and it looks like i'll only have to retake one class. my mechanical
engineering friends here tell me that it's normal to fail classes now and
then. at least for most people. I didn't want to be "most people" but I guess
i can't help it. i have one final left on friday. well, if u count the final tomorrow
for the class i'm planning to fail, i guess i have two. but i'm not gonna go to that.
what'd be the point? i can use the time for more studying for my history final
(not that i've been using my time very effectively...mostly starcraft and guitar)
Colleen's moving out at the end of the week to live in david's room while he's in SF.
Good in that we'll have our own space and time, but i'll miss knowing i can just walk
into our room to see her and the feeling of her warm body next to me in the morning.

i have absolutely no plans this summer.
I'm thinking about taking summer school, even signed up for a class. but in order
to afford the 1000 bucks for the 4 unit class--*sigh* i miss community college prices--i'll have to
get a job, in which case I won't have much time for class.
whatever, i'll make it work.
If anyone wants to go on a camping trip or backpacking or to mexico or something,
u should let me know!
I might be going to Burning Man this year depending on scheduling issues, which
would be an experience. seems like EVERYONE and their grandmother are going this
year. good or bad, i don't know.
