Chan was delighted. He smirked to himself as he walked down a major corridor in the palace. This would soon be his home, and it was a very fitting home for him, he thought. In a little more than five days he would be wedded to the princess and begin the life he had been bragging to his friends about for months.
He couldn’t wait to see her. He had been told she was the most beautiful woman in the nation. He decided to go against tradition and found his way to the princess’ chambers to sneak a peek. Chan’s smile vanished and his face quickly paled. He recognized her. She was that monster.
“Expecting someone else?” mocked Azula. This was one of her favorite memories from her wedding.
