I like how the piece is titled 'Theater' and the character is unnamed. In this one simple piece you succinctly write the universal tale of hoards of folks who have dreamed of stardom and had to settle for backstage instead. Please take a bow. *Lights, Applause, Flowers*

I like the way you perpetuated her love for the stage by drawing her to stage work when she couldn't dance anymore.
That would be a tough blow to someone who has their heart set on being under the lights.
