“Azula,” Ursa said cautiously. She wasn’t sure how her daughter was going to react.

Azula didn’t turn around, it sounded suspiciously like her mother’s voice, but something was wrong. She thought about it for a moment. The voice may have sounded like her mother’s, but the tone was all wrong. That inflection her mother only used when talking to her favored child, Zuko.

“I should have never left you and Zuko,” Ursa confessed. Tears formed in her eyes as she saw her daughter in such a state.

Azula turned around and rolled her eyes at the woman. She wasn’t her mother. Even though she was curious about the whereabouts of her mother, she didn’t believe that this woman was her. The situation reminded her of something that played over and over again in her head. She remembered the nurses talking amongst themselves. They would gossip saying that she had conversations with her mother when no one else was around.

This had to be one of those times that her mind was tricking her. Azula screamed for the hallucinations to be gone. But they wouldn’t go away. They couldn’t. This time wasn’t one, it was her mother.

Ursa frowned it was a lot worse then she could have imagined. Guilt overwhelm her, it was her fault that Azula was that wretch state.
