I've got several websites I've done. One for a friend who wanted a website for her yoga practice, a blog for my blatherings, and a personal portfolio website for myself. Two were designed using customized templates, the blog was a freebie from Wordpress. Check 'em out!

I just came back from a run in my neighborhood and I wonder why there is *always* a strange van on my route making my imagination run wild with horrible possible scenarios. I think I'll stick to running at the gym.

The cats are doing well. Since my mom's cat passed away they've been more adventurous and instead of sticking with the 2nd floor and the basement they've been exploring all three floors. They also vie for a spot on the couch where I like to sit in the living room. There's a blanket on the back of the couch and each bugs the other until they get that spot. Right now they're fighting over who gets to sit on top of a box outside my room.

Last week I went for a sleep study to see if I have sleep apnea and I get the results sometime in the foreseeable future. I thought it would be yesterday but, alas, no. So I wait and wait and snore and snore some more.

I have been cutting back on monthly expenses despite the slight uptick in freelance opportunities. Gotta save what little I make. Next month I have another website commission and a short gig working a convention. Meanwhile, I get rejections while I fill out applications. It all gets a little distressing. I so wish things would get better now.

Fannishly I'm pining for a superhero movie but will just rewatch a bunch of stuff like Black Panther and finally watch the superhero shows on Netflix. So far I've only watched Daredevil. I know! Bad superhero fan, that's me!

I've been reading writing books to get me back into the writing groove. Chuck Wendig's books on writing are absolutely kickass. Hell, his one book is called The Kick-Ass Writer and his other book is called Damn Fine Story. My first take-away is to keep the tension going, the next is to keep up the conflict in the story. So, that's my writing homework there.

I sloooowly figured out how to put fanfic on my Kindle and have been putting, surprise, Loki fic on it. But I think I need to put a bunch of FatF fic on it. And, gasp, I have never named my Kindle! My laptop is Tom, my phone is the aliPhone, etc etc. But the Kindle is nameless. Oh dear.

Oh, and if you get the chance and have Netflix I rec the Guerney Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. It's an old-fashioned romance if that's your kinda thing. As far as horror goes my one friend recs Veronica.
