I went to my parent's on Friday and the next day went to Milwaukee. Upon arrival I realized I left my luggage and meds at their place. So I had to spend another night and ride up to Chicago on an early morning train.
I've been facing the fact, with advice from my friends I should move back home. That would entail a lot of cleaning of the spare room. Get rid of the exercise equipment and a mocked up desk and a table for the plants. I'd need to bring in two bookcases for all the books I need for work and the fiction I'm reading. As well as the coloring books and origami books.
I don't want to move home, I love this apartment so much, I can't bear to lose it. I'll have to find temp jobs to keep it. Tomorrow I'll sigh up to them and really push myself as a candidate to hire. I can't do retail due to my arm hurting too much when it hangs down and it gets numb and I can't grasp things let alone type. So it has to be an office job.
My parent's are off to KS to visit the sis and her hubs and I pray they drive safely and split up the trip into sections, with an overnight in Iowa. I worry so much for them.
The other thing I don't want to do is find a sub-letter for my apartment. And I signed a year deal with Xfinity. What is the penalty going to be? And how am I going to find boxes to move?
Whine.
