The Best Holiday Ever
For the first time that I can ever remember, the holidays have gone off for my family without a hitch. No one got drunk. No one fought. Everyone got along like a family should. It was a nice change. I dread the holidays every year because of the huge fights that usually erupt, but nothing happened this year. I hope that this is the start of something good for the family and next year's holiday season will be exactly the same, if not better than this one.
I got all that I asked for, which wasn't much, and then some. I got a pink ipod nano, since the mini I had died awhile ago. It's very cute and I received lots of accessories for it, inlucding an idog, which is very very cute. I got a George Foreman Grill so I can make hamburgers and hotdots now. Yeah, I'm super excited about that. I love hotdogs. I got a chocolate fondue thingy which will be super yummy. I also got a set of Rachel Ray cookbooks. I've already found things to cook that I know my honey will like. I got a portable carpet shampooer for when the puppy has accidents, and the puppy made out like a bandit herself. She's got tons of new toys. I got a bunch of other little things too, but those are the big ones. My other fave thing is Chris Daughtry's cd. It's totally amazing and I completely reccommend going out and buying it... right now... Yeah, you knew I'd throw a plug in there somewhere, haha.
My little cousin Alicia got married last night. She looked so beautiful. I hope her and her new husband, JD, are happy in their life together. They make a cute couple, and their baby is absolutely gorgeous. Spitting image of his father. Good luck you guys!
The one thing about Christmas Break that's been difficult for me is not seeing Matt very often. It's hard to go from living with him every day, to not seeing him really for 3 weeks. I miss him terrible, and the puppy too. But we're getting a hotel room at the Amway Grand for New Year's Eve and hitting up some parties in Grand Rapids. I'm so looking forward to it, and the alone time. I really miss the alone time.
