No complaining therein
I find that occasionally SNL features a really cool up-and-coming band that I have never heard before. Maybe I am just late to the scene. Last Saturday they featured Fleet Foxes, who have two albums out, both of which I have now purchased. Their sound is pretty folksy and a little bit....bardic? Give them a listen. I like the songs Mykonos and Blue Ridge Mountains.
I have found a potato chip that is 1) not fried and 2) not bland. I just tried them today from the drug store, but apparently you can get them at other places, like Jamba Juice... they are called Popchips. I don't understand the cooking mechanism, but they don't taste greasy.
Hmmm, what else can I recommend? The BBC mini-series Jekyll! Since we go streaming Netflix, I have been able to try out a bunch of new TV Series and this one was very hard to stop watching. I only hope they produce some more episodes!
In other news, my first classes are on Thursday, and tomorrow I have some random welcome events to attend. So. Time to dive in. I can swim. I think.
