I used to not like movies all that much. Sure, I had a few favorites, but for the most part, movies didn’t interest me. They were all the same plots with the same shitty ass actors who do the same shitty ass thing. Some movies are designed for different things. Joe Dirt is designed to be a stupid comedy, and it succeeds pretty well at that, but

I think that the ability to sit through most any movie is acuired (sp). The fact that I want to be a film major I sit through even the shittiest movies because I know there is something about that movie that got it to the big screen and you can learn something from all of them, even the shitty ones.
