Hi guys! How's it going? What do you mean I haven't posted anything here in a year and a half, I don't know what you're talking about, stop looking at me like that, I'm sorry!
No, seriously. I'm sorry I've been mostly out of touch for so long. But I'm poking around on LJ (and tumblr and twitter, wretched hives of wonder as they are) more and more lately so I thought it might be a good time to reach out and touch some people. Things are good over here. Still working, still living in a house, bought an iPod and am now wasting a lot of time playing with birds and goo balls. So, you know, my shit's alright. How's yours?
Fandom stuff:
- I've archived some of my fic here on AO3, mostly for my own peace of mind. LJ has been flaky lately and the thought of trying to put all my fic together again from my... somewhat eclectic backup systems fills me with both dread and foreboding.
- Busy watching Comic-Con vids and reading blindfold_spn fills and somehow discovering even more kinks I was unaware I had, and after that I think I'll head into BigBang land and get lost for a while.
- Joining sassy_minibang as we speak. The writing schedule for that one is during my slow time (hopefully) and I'm all aflutter over Sassy and Mishalecki right now, so 10k of something should be doable. I'm not sure which pairing to pick, I think it'll depend on how the show goes.
- Speaking of; SEASON SEVEN FUCK YEAH BABY, THROW UP THE HORNS AND PRETEND YOU HEAR A SLAMMIN' GUITAR RIFF! \m/(>_<)\m/
- I watched the Game of Thrones tv series, it was awesome and all that I could have hoped for. I also watched more Glee which was less awesome but still fun and I'm pretty sure I'll be trying out the new season. Haven't seen the new Torchwood, not sure if want, but I can be convinced. Captain America was good but odd, like a super extended prologue instead of a proper movie.
Aaaand that's about it! Missed you guys, even though my distance was self imposed and therefore I have no room to complain. Hope you all are well and happy, whatever you're into now.
