Just for once. JUST ONCE! I'd love for a news story about someone "obsessed with videogames" to be positive. I.e. "Plumber saves woman from killer turtle, friends claim he was obsessed with Mario Games." I mean seriously people, Jesus Christ. The majority of people who play games are not sadistic killers, and lets face it, there are a lot of us (gamers I mean, not sadistic killers). By proportion there are almost certainly a higher percentage of violent football fans, but you never hear anyone talk of banning football. Playing a shooting game as training for mass-murder is like saying that racing games are good driving simulators. If anything freakin' paintball/ airsoft skirmishes are more likely to lend themselves to such "training" but I don't think anyone has been killed with some of his friends saying "he was obsessed with paintball."
