I feel the exact same... I treat all my DVDs, games and books with obsessive care... I wash my hands before returning to a book I want to keep as pristine as possible. I lent someone a book recently and it looked half the book I first lent. And I don't think I'd ever lend a game, I'd probably cry watching someone handle even the box without care. The eBay thing is frustrating though. Aren't there like principles of utmost good faith involved in online auctions? Things should be in good er, nick, if they're advertised like so.
I agree. I've had friends pick up books from my table and bend the covers back in a roll and I just go "EEEEEAARGH! What the fuck man?!" I don't understand how people can be so careless with their belongings, and then do it to other people's stuff too.
Jeez, I thought page-corner-folders were bad. I even take utmost care not to let the spine of a book crease, even when doing so is often inevitable with large papaerbacks.
Once I lent a game to someone, it had crisp shards inside when I got it back... I mean what the fuck? How does that happen?
