conclusion to the failed midterm
well I can't make up the midterm, but my professor did say that if I do good on the next quiz I wont fail the class. In fact I'll get a B, but if I do bad on the test we'll discuss extra credit.
This arrangement is only because I came in with all my reading notes and chapter outlines that I did over the semester. He saw that I wasn't just fucking around. He said he was confused as to why I did so poorly on the test but said "don't worry I see that you are really trying in the class and I'm not going to fail you because of this'
it was so relieving to hear this. I keep forgetting that this isn't high school any more. Most professors don't care about grades but that your actually learning something and trying.
It's going to be ok. well off the do math and reading.
