* I've had a couple of weird dreams.
1. the night of the IG show in Lowell I dreampt Girlyman was opening for the Girls as a surprise after the main show & only
gokidfears would come with me to see them.
2. After the gym last night, Darryl and I ran some errands. I bought a pair of much needed workout pants. Last night I dreampt I wore the workout pants to work despite that the label on the the pants strictly said not to wear the pants to work.
* My tarantula died on July 9. We think her death was caused by a pest control device Dad brought into the house. The instructions clearly stated not to use near tarantulas.
I had my tarantula for 11 years & I do miss her.
If yer interested, my friend Kate wrote this lovely
tribute.
3. I've been working hard at the gym. I'm known as the woman who burns a crazy high number of calories. Last night I broke my record with 608 calories. After, I went over to my other gym and walked the treadmill for an hour, burning 355 calories.
I can't walk today. My bad foot(the one I injured when i was thirteen - dislocating all toes and snapping a tendon) is bothering me. And my left hip is a mess too. I did something to it several months ago & it hurts to walk. As Mom said, I'll keep chugging along to reach my goal.
4. For the first time since 2004 Heidi and I did not see IG in Hyannis. I was super bummed about it, but I believe it's for the best. She was able to see Jay's last baseball game & I was able to burn 963 calories.
5. I got my new phone!! I've been waiting & waiting for this month to arrive ever since my razor took a bath the first week of March. I was so sad since my razor was the phone I used to call mom and text mom. Darryl still has her cellphone number which he said he'll give to me so I can program into my phone.
I'm starting fresh. New carrier and all. I programed the numbers I had into it & will continue to build my contacts list.
6. Two weeks until Darryl and I leave for Missouri. Dedra is flying into St Louis. We'll pick her up on the 9th (we leave on the 8th) & drive the last four hours to Aurora.
I'm nervous about grandma's house. It's been a year since I've been and I'm scared of the changes Dad has made. It won't be "mom's" house. I can't wait to ride the huge 7 story swing at Silver Dollar City or drive around the area to photograph the vast fields of haybales and old barns.
