american kestral - male/female - highlight of the day for me. grackle was mobbing female.

i suppose the highlight of the weekend (aside from the kestrals) was how i woke up sunday morning. We stayed at a hotel in the area. I shared a bed with H's four year old daughter, W. Sleeping soundly, i was awoken by a punch in the face. I saw stars for a moment and then heard a little voice say, 'sorry dru.'
