I'll be seeing you
SO, this is my first post in a VERY long time. Only because I can't actually POST at work, I'm not sure why yet, I'm still investigating.
And I haven't had much time to do so from home, as I'm like ALWAYS sleeping really busy. So, other than that, I don't really have any kind of excuse for not updating.
Well, that's another LIE. Cause I've been creeping LJ for weeks, mostly for Twilight related news and such. Making new friends, HELLO NEW FRIENDS ♥ and stuff.
I was thinking about entering this Twilight gift exchange thing, but I'm not sure yet. I've never done any kind of fandom art before, writing or otherwise so I don't know how well it will go over or if the person that receives it will even LIKE it. HA!
So, in other non-Twilight related news; it's February, which means my birthday just passed. YAY BIRTHDAY. I'm finally legal across the globe! (yes, this means if I happen to run into Rob in the States I can charm him over drinks...) it also means it's almost spring! and WINTERLUDE. I ADORE winterlude. (for all you non-Canadians, look this love winter fest on google!)
OH speaking of GOOGLE. And yes, this has to do with Twilight again (what can I say, Edward's really a zombie-he's eaten my brain) I finished this Twilight Riddle thing today. It took me TWO DAYS to do but I finished it. It was TOUGH but super fun. Ok, so on to other things: I just watched the Notebook and almost finished knitting my scarf! But it's FRIDAY NIGHT you say?
Why yes, it is. I enjoy to sit in my room watching sappy lovey dovey movies and knitting possibly drinking some nice birthday wine. It's SOOTHING, like chicken soup. Oh, I should read Chicken Soup for the Women's Soul next Friday! I do have a life, if you're asking. I just really ENJOY Friday nights, at home, being quiet. I'd much rather be comfy, infront of my TV in my big lazyboy chair with a nice glass of wine, magazines or my knitting and watching movies no one wants to watch with me.
Why yes, I DO like going out. Just, not often. I don't like getting dressed up and having to be entertaining. It's too much work and isn't as much fun has what I do. Which brings me to Valentine's Day. Blah. I've never liked the day, single or not. it's just another day to me. SO, this year, (on Friday because people can't get the night off work on Saturday) Robyn, Steff and I are each other's dates. Mind you, Steff has a boyfriend (she lives with that boy, ew!) but she would much rather spend the holiday with us! YAY! ♥
So, the plan is- dinner at a cutesy restaurant somewhere with fancy drinks and the like, than girly music for the car ride back to my place where more GIRLYNESS awaits us! It's going to be fabulous on every level. Kind of like all my Friday nights. I'm lame, I know.
Hmm, I think that was all I wanted to say? OH, KRISTINA GOT ACCEPTED TO GO TO FRANCE IN MAY WITH SCHOOL. YAY.
STEFF IS FUNDRAISING FOR A GOOD CAUSE, YAY! I actually think I'm going to try to throw myself into that with her- I've been meaning to do more than just work for awhile now and I think this could be a great opportunity! It's a fundraiser to help stop that AIDS virus in Africa. I'm excited about doing it. I also think I'm going to look into volunteering for the BreastCancer walk in October(atleast, I think it's in October...) well, whenever it is, I'd like to donate my time and energy!
On a different note; My aunt Chrissy and Kelvin are coming over for dinner tomorrow and of course, bringing JACK! (my new baby cousin and when I say baby, I really mean he's a year and 4 months, WOW!) We haven't had them over in so long, I'm really looking forward to it! My dad didn't know what to make, mainly because Jack's eating regular food now, atleast most things, and so he wasn't sure...he wanted to make Ribs, but I told him I wasn't sure if they'd tried him on anything like that yet and just to be safe, you know? So, he asked me if I would make something. Of course I said yes. I think I'm going to have a peek at my new Jamie Oliver cookbook and see if he can help me out. I was thinking some kind of Chicken Parmesan dish or something pretty easy. I don't know though, what do you guys think?
Ok, well other than that, I think that's it...OH, MARGERY COMES HOMES ON SUNDAY FOR TWO DAYS. YAY!! ♥ God, I miss her and she only left a few weeks ago. :P And I talk to her like..every day. But STILL. haha, I forgot you'll end up reading this at some point, Marge. -blush- oh well! YOU PROBABLY MISS ME TOO, RIGHT?! ♥ K, so yeah, I think I'm going to go to bed. Mum's going to be frantic about cleaning and 'Jackizing' the entire house so I'll probably have to get up early to help her out. I also have to do groceries if I want to make FOOD for dinner! Ack! The fridge is very badly stocked.. no one's wanted to do groceries for the past 2 weeks. :P We're all just too lazy busy.
