No one is THAT lucky

-Okay, so you know, if I were to sum up this episode it would consist of a lot of CHARLIE NO ARGH BAD BAD ETHAN NO CHARLIE JACK'S AN ARSE LOCKE IS COOL CHARLIE CHARLIE CHARLIE WHERE CLARE? CHARLIE!

- I have never said anything about coherent reviews now, have I?

-Anyway, this episode was way cool. Coming equal with Walkabout.

-Sooooo, Hurley is freaking over the manifest thing, and Jack magically puts together that Ethan Bad= Clare + Charlie x (vanish)? Rather than considering the sensible options? But of course, Jack's the hero and he can't waste any time.

-Jack was such a bastard to Locke in this episode. It's cause he's figured that Locke and Hurley's noses would be far better leaders than he is.

-Boone in this episode wasn't so bad. He was kinda sweet at times-- like the Star Trek moment XD And he said I RUN A BUSINESS again, which made me laugh.

-Jack obviously hasn't watched enough ER to know what 'call it' means. Though honestly, some of the lines in this episode are pretty laughable. Like Kate pointing out that there could be a dummy trail being an amazing thing? Dude, I could figure that out, and I can't follow a trail for seeing it.

-I think taking Vincent would be one awesome idea. But noooooooo... I thought this dog would be a cool character, but we never see him, and nor does he do anything interesting. Bah.

-Hurley, the Might Hunter, has his ass whupped at backgammon. I hope this thing with Walt being lucky doesn't spin off into some stupid, overblown backstory. If it does, I will be pissed.

-So many LotR references here. Seriously, they find Charlie's finger wrap? I half expected Jack to say "not idly do the finger wraps of Driveshaft fall..."

-Kate and Jack are off on their own and bickering, because that's the only way of releasing the pent up sexual tension, obviously. It does, subtextually, boil down to 'I know you are, but what am I?' Oh, and Kate's dad was in the army.

-Jack really does have father issues. I mean, he basically backstabbed his dad! Not that the drunken fool didn't deserve it, but there we go. Seems with Jack flattery will get you everywhere, hence why he signed the paper. Then he was guilted into screwing senior over.

-Locke and Boone are pretty funny together ^^ Boone, it turns out, runs a wedding business. A what? Yes, a wedding business. I thought he was a life-guard, but there we go. Locke worked for a paper company in Slough box company. Boone doesn't believe him, cause Locke is magic hunting man who can predict the weather and lug around 400 knives without being caught.

-Ethan really is evil. I mean, I thought he was a nerd, but here he is, beating the hell out of Jack. I mean, seriously kicking the hell out of him. "If you don't stop following me, I'll kill one of them."

-OH. MY. GOD. Seeing Charlie just... swinging there was gut wrenching and awful and strangely compelling. What an awesome plot this episode has! (It was at this point that I got a frantic text message from Laura, 'NO CHARLIE! I'M GOING TO MARRY HIM AND HAVE HIS BABIES.' Heh.) then Jack held Charlie up and Kate cut him down, and cue the most heart breaking scene of the series so far. I was crying, Kate was crying, the music was crying, Jack was spastic, Charlie was dead, and his ribs were splintering. Then he woke up.

-I liked Kate a little more this time, because she was confronting Jack about being such a dick, and it was her crying that really got me when Charlie was... dead. And the music, cause music is evil and makes me cry.

-Where's Clare? I want Clare back! Let Clare and Anti-Christ Child be okay, pleeeeeeease!

-Locke and Boone find a metal box (which yes, Boone, is obviously part of the wreckage since it's buried under feet and feet of rock and plants. Duh.)

-My updates get longer and longer. I do apologise.

What else? Erm, it's half term next week-- thank Christ. I'm still job hunting. It's amazing that I find parallel parking easier than left-corner reverse. Getting car tomorrow. Laura can go to Uni! And... that's it. Whoo. Lost is the highlight of my week, seriously. Grampsie is in hospital again-- second time in two weeks. He can barely walk and is waiting for a hip replacement, but he cracked his femur a few months ago and it's not healed, and he keeps falling :/ We'll see what happens.

Anyway, ciao!
