Edward arrived at his new office just before dawn, in order to prevent any inadvertent sparkling on the journey from his new apartment to office #8.
He set up his stereo and put in a Debussy CD. The shelves were frighteningly bare. He'd have to ask Esme to ship out part of his book collection.
Edward settled at his desk, organized the side drawer so that all the pencils pointed the same way and began work on his lesson for tomorrow.
