I think I’m insomniac. No joke. I’m literally forcing my self to sleep with, of course, no such luck. Perhaps a rather boring update will send me to sleep; we shall see. So let’s start this over:

Hi-I’m Emma Nelson. I currently have no social life (if you haven’t noticed already, that seems to be a consistent theme in all of my entries. Bugging me much? Affirmative.) I don’t think much of anyone does at the moment; school is brutal. Kwan is seriously driving me over the edge with extra work (on top of my work which I need to complete to graduate early) claiming it’ll be good for college. Yeah, well, I’m really starting to doubt I’ll do any good in University if I can’t keep up with my high-school studies.

Anyway, which is probably not surprising, I haven’t been in the social ‘loop’ at all. Although, I have managed to hear about a few things. I first heard about Ashley and Craig’s break-up from a few gossiping grade 10’s and I simply brushed it off and thought it was just that-gossip. When Manny confirmed it, and Craig and I talked about it later…I was really shocked. Sure, I mean…it was pretty predictable considering they were fighting on and off; more-so on. I just, well, didn’t see it coming. However, I want to give all the luck in the world to Paige. As I may have mentioned before, I really admire her will-power with all of this Dean stuff. I have my fingers crossed tight that everything goes well in the trial.

Well, today at least was pretty good. I hung out with Jimmy and made-out on his couch which was just…amazing. I can’t think of any other words to describe it. Oh and surprise, surprise everyone. He kissed me first. And yeah, that doesn’t make making out with someone’s boyfriend any more justifiable. Ashley, who’s apparently staying in Jimmy’s guest-room, walked in on us. It was actually pretty funny, even despite the added nervousness. I’m really starting to have residual guilt about going behind Liz’s back like this, though…

So that was pretty much my day. I’m going to cheer up my favorite emo kid, Craig tomorrow. That should be fun. Au revoir!
