you never need to doubt it, i'll make you so sure about it
so it's been almost a month since my last journal update! what is THAT about. i don't think anyone even reads this anymore. nobody updates anymore (except for nat!). let's seeee what are the updates in the life of charlee...
i turned 18 on july 25th. july 26th was my "birthday celebration" as per the boys, who took me out to dinner and then bowling. afterwards at my house things got a little crazy with me, gillies, and baldwin. it was so funny though. i love those boys.
since my birthday i have spent days at the mall and surrounding areas, either with rachael, kerri, or lauren. i am almost finished getting everything i need for college. since i'm leaving in 10 days i should probably take care of that. i can't wait to go, we are going to have so much fun. especially since lauren is my roommate, we are going to be causing some trouble. we bought some awesome stuff for our room. like a coffee pot (which we're not allowed to have) that brews the coffee into 2 travel mugs. we bought an ipod onstage, so we can plug our ipods in and blast some hott tunes. we bought bowls (not THOSE kind of bowls), a full-length mirror, a shag carpet rug, matching "everyone loves a catholic girl" pillowcases, a floor mat that says "PISS OFF." umm.. oo a martini set. matching wall hangings. other fun stuff. so yea. Immaculata University here we come!
so this past monday..i think it was monday. yea monday. i decided to have one last get together with everyone, since alex is leaving tomorrow:( so rachael, baldwin, gillies, jen haas, jimmy, aaron, and cashan came over. it was so much fun. i wish i could remember it. here are some moments i DO remember:
kicking out an intruder who was NOT invited.
being pushed over in my lawn chair and NOT hitting the ground because my chair landed on the lounger in back of me. safeeeee.
rachael having to escort me up the stairs so that i could put my pajamas on. i later learned that i started to undress with my door still open, which rachael had to close for me. lol
then i went into the bathroom and like slammed my head into the bathroom mirror, which HURT. but it didn't hurt then obviously. i think i just laughed.
dominating in flip cup, even though half of the beer went down my shirt.
drinking so much that my feet and my mouth were literally numb. not a good thing.
telling cashan "you're my best friend..but not as much as RACHAEL!!! SHE'S MY BEST FRIEND!!!" (once again i do not remember this, rachael told me about it.)
around 2am-ish, we all decide to finally go back into the basement. i don't actually remember walking into the basement, but i remember lying there and putting on Thirteen Ghosts, and then passing out. it's a good thing i did or i definitely would have thrown up.
so basically i was sick to my stomach until about 5am, after i finished watching Saved! for the 2nd time that night. i slept for about 2 hours i guess, and woke up at 8am. rachael made breakfast, and then after she left jimmy and i spent the rest of the morning downloading songs and making cds. i love shimmy:)
so let that be a lesson to you all...the effects of alcohol are never fun!!!! i now have a bruise on my arm the size of $Texas and not a CLUE where it came from!!!! drinking is BAD!
all in all, it's been a great summer. i have a few things to brag about, none of which i will brag about HERE, they are mostly my little secrets :) but yea, the summer has been awesomeness, and in 10 days i am out on my own. I THINK I'M READY!!!!
today i donno what i'm doing. i'm going to see alex at some point, since he's leaving tomorrow. i am going to miss him so much. my BEST FRIEND FOREVER!!!
