i just had the worst night at work ever. tony totally told me off for speaking my opinion. he told me i have an attitude problem. i asked cara if she thought that was true. cara told me i can be very rude. it all hurt my feelings so much, because i just left my good paying job to be nice and stick by their sides. it seems sometimes, i can do nothing right. it's easy for me to slip into a mood where i feel less than human.
what i was trying to tell tony, was i think the drivers need to be better cross trained. not all of them of course, but some of the newer ones like louis. i don't see how he could have took that as a direct insult, because tony hasn't been at our store long enough to be at blame for this.
it all started when the new guy placed an order for a pepperoni pizza instead of a pinapple. that's an easy enough mistake, because the codes for toppings in the computer are normally the first letter of the word. for example pepperoni, is "P". well, it all gets a little more confusing i guess, when you have two items that start with the same letter {pinapple, pepporoni}. so the code for pinapple is "N".
well louis called up to the store from a customer's house to say that he had the messed up pizza and that we needed to make a large pinapple to replace the mess up. i told him sure thing, and shouted back the request- "We need a remake Large Pinapple". well, tony was onto me from the start. "WHY DO WE NEED A REMAKE?!"
when louis came in, he was kinda embrassed looking and said that the women had told him the wrong thing {he noticed as he walked in}. she had ordered an extra large, and we had made a large. i was like "okkie", "umm....just tell the make line". then i let tony know so he understood why we had an extra large pinapple. well, tony got rude with me, telling me i needed to call the woman and ask what her pizza was. I told him it was an extra large pinapple. he yelled at me telling me to call still. i tried to tell him i had the ticket in my hand, but he just ignored me.
i called her up, and she said it was an extra large pinapple pizza.
