Forgotten Photographs, Confidence, and the Importance of Supportive Networks

Many moons ago, I made a crimson midbust that you might remember. It was one of the first standard sized midbusts I produced and is cut quite low to just lightly push at the lower bust in a lovely sweetheart shape, like petals :-)

Well, last October we photographed it on another friend and then I promptly forgot to upload some images. So here they are!

This piece has been previously modeled on Breezer and SamiO respectively, and I love showing a standard sized piece on three such different body types. Sure, they're all a similar size (hence they all fit the one piece), but look at how different they are! Those of us who are passionate about bespoke obviously prioritise it above all else, but it is worth noting that well-shaped standard sizes can still give a lovely effect.

That said, I no longer produce standard sized midbusts and overbusts... cinchers and underbusts only! If I had a bricks-and-mortar shop where people could try on a standard sized piece that might be another matter. Ah, one day.

In other news, I went to a wonderfully helpful training day on Friday and have been reflecting on it. So this blog post is up in extended form over on my website for those who are interested in my waffling musings ;-)

And lastly, there is one day left for the ebay listing of my decoupage mannequin. She's on a buy-it-now price and there are loads of watchers, but they're just watching! Remember, you can always click that "make an offer" button...
