Sub training finally finished!!
Yep. I'm done! Elementary school is going to be pretty fun. For middle and high school, I am going to have to be pretty "chill". That is what I have learned. My age could either work towards my advantage or against me in high school. The sub coordinators said that if the students identify with you, then they will respect you. The lady who taught said that she began teaching at high school when she was 20. She said it was easy to maintain a professional behavior at that age and still have the students identify with you. Interestingly, I am more excited about the hgih schools. I think it will be a challenge, but I am curious to see how far I can push myself.
I was surprised that there were so many young people becoming subs. There were a lot of attractive people taking the class as well. Both females and males (I mean that in the most heterosexual way possible!). I don't remember having those kind of subs in school!
