The weekend
I had such a wonderful weekend. I went down to Orlando to celebrate Alicia turning 21. It's always nice to get down there, because I miss everyone. I sometimes feel left out, because they're all down there, and I'm up here, so when I do get to see them, we always have such a blast.
We went out to Tabu, which was such a blast. It was crowded, but not Gainesville club crowded, where you can't breathe. We somehow got to be VIP, so we had the whole upstairs area/bar to pretty much ourselves. Random people bought us drinks, and I made friends with a couple of Gators. Good times all around. I must apologize to Mike Cushing for the drunk dial. I kind of remember putting Alicia on the phone and saying random stuff. I apologize for any inconvience, Cush.
Then I came back up here, and at the eboard meeting tonight, I found out that someone nominated me for a Chapter Service Key. For you Non-PSP'ers, it's like, the most prestigious honor your chapter can give you. I'm so honored just to be nominated to get one, considering the brothers that have gotten it in the past. We'll have to wait till banquet to see if the chapter actually votes on me to receive it.
I can't believe my time in Phi Sigma Pi is coming to an end. It's meant so much to me over my four years, it's taught me so much, and the best part is that I've met SO many amazing people. I've said it before, but it's constantly amazed me that a group of college kids can accomplish such great things. I'm really gonna miss it next year.
I'm excited about banquet though. Meredith is my date!! I need to find something to wear. And waterproof mascara, because I know there's gonna be tears like whoa. I can't believe I only have a couple of weeks of college left. It's gone by so quickly. I graduate May 6th. Yall better be there. :)
