Ah,
sparklehole, I'm sorry! I took too long and totally fell out of the sparkle. Since we last met, I got a new (not entirely unproblematic but much better) computer so momentum will be easier to maintain from now on. HOORAY, GOOD TO SEE YOU! :D
A refresher, I was last tagged with Subarashiki Sekai and perhaps that was part of my emotional overload. XD

This is one of those songs that is so gorgeously perfect and beautiful live, it really must be listened to. I think I love the live version almost more than the recorded? It's all about the voices this time. The boys get to just take a seat and engage the audiences with just their singing together, which is one of my very favorites Arashi experiences. I think I find it all the more precious considering huge concerts like this often mandate more spectacle. :)
We start looking over Koukuritsu, the sky a wash of grey overhead.
In a downfall of pixel sparkles and simple spotlights come our boys.
In accordance with the lyrics, their voice float out:
This is a Little Song, a Tiny Song kono te takaku takaku ima maiagaru
Tomo o shinjiru yasashii koe ga tooku tooku kimi no moto e todokimasu you
This is a little song, a tiny song, my hands are gonna fly higher and higher now
I pray this gentle voice that believes in friendship will reach you far, far away
Jun takes the first solo lines and singing them in that passionate, crooning way, like he really wants them to reach the ears of all the audience members. We all watch a drop of sweat creep down his cheek and try to resist the urge sweep him up in a hug right now.
Next are Nino's quavering notes. As is the case with Nino, he does nothing halfway and you may have your hands pressed to your heart or your face with the swell of emotion rising.
Jun glances over at Nino, ready to join in.
All their voices together again, intoning the chorus, making you really listen to what they're singing:
I'll board the last train and rush past the station of despair
Just a little bit further to your town
We cry and we laugh, but still we end up dreaming of tomorrow
Thank you, wonderful world
If you are not helpless against such Ninofaces, I don't even know what to say!
Hello, Hello, My New World
Perhaps the very fondest of all people?
Hello, Hello, Sing a Little Song
Ohno needs only his slouch to emote. ♥
Aiiiiiibaaaaa. Is it sad that in just the time it took for him to get go changed, I was already missing his presence? :)
He has a hand on his heart for about 80% of the time and is absolutely nailing the vocals. I adore that this song in concert is just used to give them a chance to really sing and for us to appreciate them doing so. Aiba, your voice is lovely!
Also you are just a lovely human being! ♥
Aiba takes his seat and we are a little more complete.
Anytime Ohno gets to just concentrate on singing is a delight. He makes his solo lines sound like he could sing them in his sleep. And they would STILL be more gorgeous than can be believed!
Matsujun tapping along on his leg! Sho singing but not into the microphone! These things do the heart good!
Juuuun! Sho is getting ready…
For his solo of JOY, his voice rising over all of Koukuritsu! As much as I love the Sakurap, I have a special place in my heart for the solos when he just sings.
He wants to say something to all his homies! ♥!
Forget the emotion of the lyrics, I have tears in my eyes just because of how much I love Sho! I really believe everything is going to be alright!
Start taking us home, Neen!
Saishuu densha ni notte yuuutsu no eki o kakenuketekou
I'll board the last train and rush past the station of despair
Kimi no machi made ato sukoshi
Just a little bit further to your town
Sometimes I have a favorite and his name is Matsumoto Jun. ♥
Bokura wa naite waratte sore de mo asu o yume mite shimau
We cry and we laugh, but still we end up dreaming of tomorrow
Augh, I love watching them gaze out across the crowd with such love and appreciation too!
Arigatou subarashiki sekai
Thank you, wonderful world
Whose voice can be counted on for a climatic note calling back to the song's title? This guy's.
Augh, we're being emoting all at once!
It truly is a wonderful world! *hearts;
Subarashiki sekai...
This is a little song, a tiny song
Song kono te takaku takaku ima maiagaru
My hands are gonna fly higher and higher now
Tomo o shinjiru yasashii koe ga
I pray this gentle voice that believes in friendship
tooku tooku kimi no moto e todokimasu you
Will reach you far, far away
And finally we pull back and the sky isn't just grey, it's cloudy in a very beautiful way. Letting a little fading light through and letting the lights of the stage stand out. A perfect concert moment.
(Zip of 243 Caps!) Ah, the exciting feeling of spinning! We have for Val:

Also, because I was totally envious of Val's awesome poll idea when she did it but never copied her... I'm copying her. XD
