The thing I love about this Sho solo is Sho is just good, he really gets to show off his skills here. I also like some of the lyrics Sho throws in there while fitting sounds together, like "The result left behind is that the prodigal son is still playing his devotion to his parents". That's completely fascinating to me in the context of Sho. :D

I get REALLY happy when Sho uses the words IDOL and POP STAR in his raps. This song is really the epitome of Sho embracing that image and that use for his raps, from the title on downwards. HIP POP, I REALLY LOVE YOU. ♥ I actually had never listened to rap, more than a song or two over the years, before jpop and I think one of the reasons I embraced it so quickly and throughly here is because its tempered by the sweetness of pop. :)
Tokyoooooo~ I think this is a solo where our person feels particularly connected to the audience. I think the rapping suits that, a lot of time is spent just getting people into a rhythm.
The only problem with capping a rap solo, there are not a lot of times when the mic isn't in the way. XD
