Charlie!
I saw Charlie in the Chocolate Factory tonight, along with several other people, as the theater was packed.
And it was magificent.
I have an absolute love and appreciation for Tim Burton's ideas, his thoughts and the way he puts them all together in these vividly colored, bright landscapes and scenes. I'm enthralled at how even one camera angle lets you see into exactly what he was feeling.
Johnny Depp was amazing as well. His interpretation of Wonka was such a delight, it had me giggling like I was ...well, a kid in a candy store. I was hooked.
I would definately go to see it again, especially if there is an IMAX involved (just so you all know.) And in case that wasn't good enough, the preview for The Corpse Bride had me ready to jump out of my seat in excitement.
So basically, #)%*##!!! In a very happy, good way.
