Elizabeth wasn't in her office but John knew where to find her.
Just as he thought, he found her standing on their balcony under the shining stars.
The slight lift of her head at the sound of the doors acknowledged his presence.
With that, he walked to her side and leant on the railing.
The day had been tough, lives had been lost and he knew she was grieving.
He just stood there, waiting for her to begin the conversation.
Her head turned to look at him, her eyes shining with unfamiliar tears.
All he could do was hold her.
