some odds and ends
Thursday was a flurry of activity.
1 As you may recall I was working for an outfit in Atlanta last January. After 6 weeks of employment they still had not given me a paycheck so I had to quit. I joined a consortium of other employees who had been shorted and we filed a lawsuit together. A judgment was rendered in our favor and now the sheriff will be going to the business in question's office to seize roughly about $250.000 worth of assets to be sold off and pay us.
2 I had a nice long talk with a associate that I have known for over a year now. They are gearing up for some work and he wanted to know if I was available. The best part is that it will most likely be a perm position, and not a contract. Although even if it is a contract, it is going to be at least a 2 year or more contract.
3 Went out geocaching today to do some maint on Starhopping II. It would seem that critters liked the bright red containers I used so I am going to have to come up with something new. I replaced all the missing containers, but still need to find a way to make them easir to see.
