Jan and I went into the city to the GGA meeting. It was a great opportunity to hook up with some friends for an afternoon. We got to chat with Annie, and Johnnie and a few others. We even made some new friends. It is interesting to hear from the others how the gas prices have stymied the geocaching. A couple of folks have mentioned that they only time they will get some distant caches is if they just happen to be going in that direction for business or something. I tend to agree. Carpooling may help, but going after a chace on my own costs too much in gas.
We stopped by to see mom and dad on the way home. Mom cut the huge pine trees in her back yard. It looks.....strange.
No service tonight at church. But we still have to go back this evening to attend a dinner for visiting missionaries. Then tomorrow is interview day.
