I so dread tomorrow. Poor Charlie is going to the vet for the first time. It has taken us two years to get him comfortable with us enough to allow us to pick him up and hold him. Now we are going to stick him in a carrier, take him to the vet and have him neutered. I cringe at the very thought. Poor Charlie.
The vets all say that it the best thing for him. Of course, since they get paid to do the procedure, their motives are not entirely above reproach.
We're taking Comet and Amber in as well. It is Comet's follow-up since he first showed up on our doorstep. He is much better off, but we'd like to see him in a little better shape after two months of TLC. Amber is going in because of a swelling resulting from a fight. It looks as if she took a bite from one of the boys and something got into the wound and has caused a bit of an infection.
That is the life of an 8 cat household. There is always something going on and it is always time for someone to go in for a checkup.
