Well so far this month has been one of the ugliest I can remember. With the exception of one or two days of spring-like temperatures, we have gotten a lot of rain, rain and more rain. It would be ok if we could get a little snow as part of the package, but so far no dice.
We have had several days of constant rain now and I guess if there is a silver lining, it is that I now know where there is a leak in the roof on my porch. Fortunately there are no leaks in the house, but there is one on the porch and that will be to patch as soon as we get a dry day or two. And since the weather forcast for this weekend is sunny with highs in the lower to mid 50s that might be a good time to take care of that chore. Of course that will have to be after Corey and I return from our weekend outing.
As for snow, so far all we have gotten since 2011 is a couple of dustings. Now that Corey is old enough to get out and play, I am eagerly waiting on a chance to toss him into a snowdrift.
