Saturday
It was not until Friday night that I realized that today would be the second Saturday of the month. That meant a GGA meeting was being held. So after checking online to see when and where, Jan and I decided to attend.
I got up this morning about 8 and turned the heat up (that helps Jan brave the mornings). Once I got her up, we got dressed and went into town where I deposited a paycheck, paid some bills and then we grabbed a quick bite before driving to Lawrenceville for the meeting. We got there an hour early so we went to Discovery Mills and used two gift cards that we got for Christmas. I got a new set of hiking shoes.
We quickly beat feet top the meeting and bumped into Annie (sans DAP) and that was the highlight of the day. I swear if I hung around her for any length of time she would have my sides split open from laughter. As it was, things were not too bad today. We got a chance to see good friends and collect a smiley face. But around 4, we knew we needed to get back on the road because Jan wanted to visit a craft store before we returned to Blue Ridge.
We finally got back home about 8pm (having stopped for dinner on the way back)
