As part of my quest to get in touch with hobbies and interests, I started Muay Thai last weekend as my last entry details and I also want to get the Buffy comics that Joss has done as an apparent proper season 8 but obviously somewhat cheaper and easier to carry out than on TV! I also have a confession to make, I have not watched Doctor Who all season. I'm waiting for the cries of pain from certain readers of this LJ but this is not entirely my fault, honest. Most Saturdays I have been working functions or events. Once I have missed one, I will not just go onto the next one, I have to watch them all in order. I'm just trying to drown out the finale downstairs at the moment as Dad is watching. What should happen is that I'm going to watch all of them in one go which I'm looking forward to hopefully at some point this week. I also have an entire season of Veronica Mars to watch too . Don't worry though, Dr Who is first on the list.
Mum and Dad go to Wales tomorrow until Wednesday which means I have my arduous task of looking after Max, bit worried about the responsibility but sure I will cope. This week I also take on Mum's job for two weeks, with hopefully much money. Last week I worked slightly excessively to the point where I ended up being off today as I had an accident last night at Newmarket Racecourse. Monday and Tuesday I was scrambling to move all my stuff from Norwich, Wednesday and Thursday I worked at the Norfolk Show. I really wish I could've gone as an attendee rather than a worker as it seemed like a lot of fun. I was in the Anglia Farmer's tent, pretty much working as a catering assistant/assistant cook type person. Yesterday, I worked on Newmarket Nights. This is an afternoon of racing followed by an evening of entertainment. This week was the Sugababes. I worked on a really busy bar which was a lot of knackering fun until I hurt myself. Basically, hadn't had a break all evening, finally got to toilet, run/walked back to bar, only to totally miss seeing the huge raised concrete slab in front of me, tripped and fell onto it, knocked wind out of me. I lay there for about 5 minutes curled up in the foetal position unable to talk or move. Thankfully, a wonderful lady helped me and sat me up and hugged me for ages and got me a drink. Don't know who she was but i was very grateful. I had a long break but still stayed on at the bar until we were allowed to leave, which was half past midnight, despite chest pains I had been having. So decided that it was best, I took the time off today. Will have to explain to agency on Monday morning. I'm starting to look accident prone, what with my burnt hand at Centerparcs fiasco. Otherwise, seeing the Sugababes at the racecourse was fairly awesome (albeit on large screens).
It has definitely been a week of changes as I have now moved back to parents' home, hopefully less stress on all accounts. Especially if anyone was aware of troubles people had tried to inflict on me over this past week or so. My worrying about other people to the point of making myself ill has come to a head, where I realise it needs to stop, or condition myself to lessen, particularly as it normally gets thrown back in my face, as people don't seem to have a clue this is what I am doing!
