Hmmmm

I feel rather good right now. Like, I'm extra proud of myself. Tuesday, I worked 8 hours. And even though I was sore when I came home, I still went for a jog (which was like the best thing ever). I jogged/walked 2 1/2 miles. Then I ate a healthy dinner of fish. Despues, I read some email and started on my paper. Pero, Elder called and kept me on the phone for a while. Then I took a bath. Best freaking thing ever. Then, I wrote my paper for Latino Lit from 12am-6:30am. Yes people, I said AM. Then I got dressed for school and studied a lil' for my two tests that day. Donna and my Mom are on a cruise for the next 8 days, so Donna' sister gave me a ride to school. She showed up like ten minutes before I had to be in class! I got there only a couple minutes late and turned in the paper I wrote. I got my bg tests back for that class.... 96!!! Woohoo! The teacher said I did phenomenally well on the test and that she thinks I may have the highest score. (There were 5 A's, 5 B's, 7 C's, 2 D's, 6 F's. Two of the F's were because those people didn't even show up.) My whole grade in that class is based on the test I got an A on, the paper I just wrote, one more paper and the final exam. That's it! No partcipation or homework grade at all. 2 papers, 1 test and a final. At least I am off to a good start.

Next is my Native Studies class with Dr. Borella. While I love Ms. (Dr. yet?) Allende for Latino Lit.... I can't say the same for Borella. She is a bit too opinionated for my taste but at least she has good intentions. She always backs up GRN. I got another extra credit word in that class today since only 13 people showed. I have three already. We watched a movie and I slept through it. What can I say? I didn't sleep at all the night before. My grade in that class is to a good start I believe. We have two tests, final exam and points for participation. I think I am good for participation. And I got an 86 on the first test (I had the second highest score in the class, everyone failed the test...). Plus I have extra credit racked up in that class.

Then freaking Human Development with Dr. Vale. I'm not going to get an A in that class. I can tell you that right now. B wrote all the way across it. I hate it. Utterly hate that class. The teacher seems okay but all she does is lecture straight from the book and have us take notes. Then the tests are crazy hard. I got a D on the first one! Ugh. Fortunately, she drops our lowest score. At least now I know what to look for in the tests. Study all the stupid miniscule facts. Gratefully, the class is made up of a bunch of assignments. Lots of them. So, I should be fine.

Thirty minute break for lunch. Amazingly, I wasn't tired yesterday despite my lack of sleep.

Next was Chicano Politics with Pacheco. I adore him. Heh. He teases me a lot and we get a long really well. Bright funny guy. He lectured a little and then we took our quiz. I feel confident about the results. Our grade is 2 quizzes, 2 tests, 2 homework assignments and the final. I got an A on the first quiz, B+ on the first test (3rd highest score), and I turned in the first homework assignment.

Lastly, Pre-Columbian Art of MesoAmerica. That class is awesome. I love Dr. Hernandez too, you can tell she is really passionate about what she teaches. She calls this class her baby. I guess this is her favorite Art class to teach. It is really interesting actually. And her tests are easy. I missed one question on the quiz yesterday and I didn't do any of the reading. Heh. The grade in her class is made up of completely tests and quizzes. Something like 6 quizzes and 3 tests make up our grade in that class. I've gotten perfects on 2 quizzes, missed only one question on the quiz yesterday, and on the first test I got an A. My grades in college are much better than high school. And even though there is a lot less homework (if any)... it seems more challenging and I am actually learning things. Learning lots of things!

Yah. I slept for ten hours.
