Duh!
I had such a "Duh" moment today...
So this morning i booked my flight to go home for christmas. i booked it and called my mom to tell her the times i was arriving and leaving. the plan was to get there christmas eve night and leave that sunday morning.
so i finish the topic of the flight and we go on to talk about other things...just random stuff like we usually do. about 15 minutes or so into the conversation i am looking down at my itinerary and look at the date...it was Thursday, Dec 25...oh damn.
the conversation went as follows:
Mom: "something something something..."
Me: "Oh shit..."
Mom: "What's wrong?"
Me: "Um, Thursday is Christmas day isn't it"
Mom: "Yes, why?"
Me: "I booked my flight for Christmas day instead of Christmas eve"
Mom: "No you didn't..."
Me: "Yeah...I got to go...shit"
Mom: "Ok, give me a call..."
I couldn't believe it. I was really worried b/c i have changed flights before and it cost me $130 to do so.
Thankfully, you can cancel your tickets w/in 24 hours and not incur any fees. I only had to pay the $6 service charge w/ any tickets. So i was able to cancel my ticket, book the new one for the right day, and only have to pay $6 extra...thank goodness. and my flights times are identical and seats are pretty much the same as well :-)
