Writer's Block: 9/11
I used to go to the library every morning in seventh grade. When I walked in on September 11, Kourtney Raider ran at me and said breathlessly "Charlotte, oh my God, a plane just hit the Twin Towers." Neither she nor I knew what the Twin Towers were before that day.
I glanced up at the TV above her head just in time to see the second plane hit. The entire school watched for the rest of the day.
