(no subject)
Good night tonight.
I went and took a two-hour nap after my dad left for California (dude, still am shocked by that; so didn't know he was going!), and then got up just in time to get ready to leave for youth group, and drank a lot of that offbrand Mountain Dew stuff. Mmm. And then ran sound!
Adam L is playing violin again this week!! <3 Makes me a very happy Shiny, and even happier because I'm running the board on Sunday, too. Which is very, very good, because no one else seems to know how to handle the violin (has to be played with, effects put on it, turned up at parts and turned down at others, different high-and-lows added or removed with different songs, etc) aside from the leader-dude but even he doesn't put effects on it, so hah. I win, I guess. And three out of our four-song-lineup are going to heavily feature said violin! [Insert squeeing here]
Also we fixed the feedback problem with the bass, and got it working well (popped the subs a few times, but Ms Debbie said it was okay 'cause we had to to find the proper level, so I didn't have to panic); drums are still working good; Adam S got his guitar to not feedback too, and we properly hooked up the other guitar which was just sort of playing into a mic before. And nothing went wrong, and I was happy and awake and shiny and yes, very good.
Now I'm sleepy again but since it's nighttime I guess that's okay....
....except that I still haven't written my Rogue!post, and as such feel all eek-like. Not Rogue-like-eek, just eek, which is why the post is currently nothing more than a vague outline of what I want to do with it (which, I guess, is better than nothing, but still not what I want! I've taken like three weeks on this, now?). Mmmph.
So plan of action for tomorrow is to finish that. And clean up my room because it's horrible. Hah...
