(no subject)
I don't know why I always say yes to projects. It always ends in stress.
I said "okay, sure!" to retyping all CR brochures - knowing there were a lot, sure, but assuming it wouldn't be hard to format them or whatever...
...except I just spend an hour, almost an hour and a half, fighting with stupid Word (it's the newer version, and it makes my head hurt; I miss the 2000 version! /oldschool) to get the page landscape-style, and then to get the columns appropriately aligned so that I can fold the page in half, and then the printer to get the test page to come out with the words on the right sides / not upside-down, etc. I've accomplished... one brochure. And I feel like I did ten.
I foresee this taking a very long time.
At least it's not MediaShout? screw that, I wish it were, never mind, Word '07 is a complete bitch.
In other news, my default icon (me!) is so colorful! I log in and I'm like BAM, WOAH, COLORS. It's sort of awesome, but it's sort of alarming, because I do not identify myself as "colorful". My mind is still in my semi-gothic stage where I wore only black and muted colors and hated bright colors because I thought "color = girly" and have problems with "girly" types MOST of the time. So, uh. I don't really know what the point of mentioning this is. Just, you know, look, colors!
Also, it's sort of hilarious to be riding along in a car with your mother, turn to her and tell her that one of your muses has an opinion on her driving that you'll keep to yourself because you don't want to end up walking home. o.O;
