So today during the second church service a woman had a heart attack. We were all sort of like BZUH? waiting for the ambulance to get there (they took their good old time, man, holy crap; hospital is like 15t minutes away NORMAL driving speed - an emergency vehicle with sirens/lights should have made it in less than that, but it ended up being like a 20/25 minute wait). I was on House computer, which also controls lights, and it was right before a solo, so the lights were really dim and I was like WHAT DO I DO? IF I TURN THEM UP, THE PERSON (who I thought at the time was having a stroke) MIGHT GET WORSE, BUT MAYBE THE PEOPLE TRYING TO HELP HER NEED MORE LIGHT, I DON'T KNOW, AAAHHH and it sounds like way pathetic, I know, but it was a huge dilemma. So in the end I tried to fade the lights on to a higher level as discreetely as possible so as not to be like darkBRIGHT, and, yeah. As far as I know she's gonna be fine, but woahhh.
On top of that there were mad sound issues earlier - one of the big amps backstage overloaded a breaker, so the monitors weren't working, so now they've been adjusted on the board to compensate, and adfhadf, chaos! And all of this was the one week a year that our music minister takes her vacation. Hahahaha, she's never going to believe this.
Also I am sleepy (STILL NO SLEEPING, ASFADFHADF), and cold (no sleep = BRR), and low on caffeine. I think I need girly coffee right now.
my life is weird sometimes,
omg!,
woah
